Organic Choice - We, the family farmers of Organic Choice, are committed to following the standards of our Organic Choice Achievement Program.  Everything comes from the soil.  It is important to respect and nourish the soil life to produce high quality, nutritious food and productive animals and people.  That is why no chemical or synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides have been used in the production of our products.  All necessary steps have been taken to ensure that no genetically modified organisms (GMO) are used in the production of crops (seeds), feeds, purchased vitamin mineral premixes or feed preservatives.  The feeding of rendered animal by-products is not allowed nor is the use of antibiotics or synthetic hormones of any kind.  Our dairy farms are generally small to ensure our cows receive humane treatment, proper care, and the availability of fresh air, sunshine and pasture.  Special care is taken from start to finish in the production of our dairy products to ensure that you get the best quality and taste.  Together we can make our world and environment a better place to live for our children - and the next generation.

Eat Wild - Why Grassfed is Best!
What are grassfed animal products?  Most of the meat, poultry, dairy products, and eggs available in your grocery store come from animals that are raised in large confinement facilities where they are fed grain-based diets and treated with a variety of drugs. By contrast, "grassfed" products come from animals that are raised on high-quality pasture on small family farms.  The animals are not treated with hormones, feed antibiotics, or other unnecessary drugs, so their products are healthy, wholesome, and natural in every sense of the word.

Raw Milk - This Website has been established to educate the public about a very important issue to our health:  the issue of high-quality, raw dairy.  Although it may seem hard to imagine that the government would outlaw raw dairy, in most states this has already happened.  Most of the public thinks that the government has acted in our best interests by requiring all milk to be processed by pasteurization and other methods.  However, the only people that benefit directly from these laws are the businesses selling dairy.  You, the consumer, are being sold pasteurized milk that research has proved promotes disease, while the store profits because the processed dairy keeps on the shelf longer.

Tennesseans for Raw Milk

Butterworks Farm
Butterworks Farm is a real Farm, located in the mountains of Vermont's pristine and unspoiled Northeast Kingdom. We are unique among New England organic dairies and yogurt makers for a number of reasons. We've been farming organically for twenty-five years and are always willing to share our knowledge and experience. We are totally self-sufficient. We grow all the food our cows eat, including corn, oats, barley, soybeans, and alfalfa. All of our cows were born here on the farm. We have a closed herd- which means we don't buy cows from other farms. Since 1975, during our first days as homesteaders with just a family cow, we have made our yogurt right here on the farm. We use only our own milk to produce this delicious yogurt. Our soils are sweet and mineralized. The extra special "nutty" flavor of our whole yogurt begins with the land we farm.
